Hospitality & Consessions

This committee is a two-part team. It will function as both hospitality and concessions.

Hospitality

Help care for students, staff, and volunteers during the longest production days. You do not need to cook! Help can include ordering food, picking up meals, setting up, serving, donating approved items, or cleaning up.

What this team does:

• Coordinate school matinee meal (and potential other meals)

• Organize snack donations

• Set up food

• Distribute meals

• Clean up afterward

• Coordinate allergy information with authorized school personnel

• Thank volunteers

• Provide hospitality for special production events

Recommended size: 6–10 coordinators plus donors

Consessions

Plan and operate concessions while creating an additional fundraising opportunity.

What this team does:

• Plan concession offerings

• Request donations

• Purchase supplies

• Set prices

• Set up displays

• Sell items

• Restock

• Track inventory

• Clean up

Fun Singin’ in the Rain possibilities

• “Good Mornin’” treats

• Umbrella-themed candy displays

• Hollywood star cookies

• Movie-premiere snacks

• “Singin’ in the Rain” themed drinks

• Cast-themed specialty items

This team could have a lot of fun without becoming complicated.

Recommended size: 5–8 planners plus 6–10 volunteers per show
