*Please note our regular Tryouts occur in the Spring after our season has ended. Therefore this Fall tryout is only open to students that are new to GMSD (i.e. moved into district, transferred) and our 2023 Spring Applicants.
Fall Tryouts will take place August 14th 2023. The required documents must be completed and submitted in order to attend/participate in this tryout.

Purpose
Purpose
The purpose of this competitive program is to create school ambassadors by showing support for Houston Middle School through dance performances and cheers at school sanctioned events including basketball games and pep rallies. The purpose is to also give young athletes the opportunity to represent Houston Middle School at local, state, and national competitions. The overall mission is to cultivate young dancers, top athletes, and school/community ambassadors through the sport of competitive dance.

It is our pleasure to represent Houston Middle School and give back to our community. Each year we raise money and encourage the thousands of participants in the St. Jude ! We horrify our community in Haunted Houston and spread holiday cheer in the Germantown parade.
