Course Overview:
This two-semester course introduces students to the principles of solid-state and semiconductor physics and devices, covering topics such as crystal structures, electronic properties, lattice dynamics, and semiconductor and device properties. The course will follow Charles Kittel's Introduction to Solid State Physics and Donald A. Neamen's Semiconductor Physics and Devices, providing both a theoretical foundation and practical insights into the behavior of solids.
