School Features

The Sinying Elementary School Taiko Team was established in 2008 and has become one of the school's prominent features. It is also a high-quality school team that has cultivated numerous talented drummers. The team is often invited to perform at various events and has received great acclaim. Each year, they also participate in competitions and have achieved outstanding results.

The Sinying Elementary School String Orchestra was established in November 2016 in an effort to provide more opportunities for children in the Sinying area to experience music. By learning music, the orchestra hopes to enhance the cultural literacy of the children and broaden their horizons.

In recent years, the Sinying Elementary School String Orchestra has participated in many music performances, thanks to the promotion from the school and invitations from various organizations. The orchestra has achieved excellent results in various competitions and has represented Tainan City in the National Student Music Competition several times, winning top honors.

The butterfly garden of Sinying Elementary School is a beautiful and vibrant place located next to the activity center on campus, covering an area of about 300 square meters. The garden is planted with various plants that attract butterflies, such as Twisting Dregea, Kusukusu Eupatorium s, Blood-flower Milkweed, and Jamaica False-valerianand so on. In the butterfly garden, not only can beautiful butterflies be appreciated, but also the activities of other organisms such as fireflies, dragonflies, and bees, making it a rich and colorful ecological environment. It not only provides students with opportunities to learn and observe ecology but also serves as a green treasure on campus.
