From Naomi Villa: I am the Marketing and Communications Specialist for the UF | Florida Semiconductor Institute. We would like to share with you event information for an upcoming professional development opportunity for Alachua County Educators. The event, Semiconductor Education Day for K-20 Educators, will be held on Thursday, November 6th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Malachowsky Hall. The one-day event is designed for K–20 educators, administrators, and guidance counselors eager to integrate semiconductors and STEM career exploration into their curriculum.
Through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and expert-led discussions, educators will gain insights into the rapidly growing semiconductor industry and walk away with practical tools, fresh ideas, and inspiration to spark student interest and prepare the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators!
