What is Algebra 2?
Algebra 2 is a class that covers topics such as linear equations, inequalities, graphs, matrices, polynomials, radical expressions, quadratic equations, functions, exponential and logarithmic expressions, sequences and series, probability and trigonometry. It prepares students to take Pre-Calculus and Statistics and helps them develop skills in manipulating and solving various types of equations. Algebra 2 is the same as college algebra and is the advanced level of pre-algebra and Algebra 1.

The team aspect of this class includes:
Going into more depth in the math, especially for the topics which are using in math competitions.
20 point quiz grade in Q3 based on participating in Team activities such as:
Team practices, Competitions(on Saturdays), Winning trophies Tutoring, & Volunteer work w/ team.
[basically boils down to 1 hour = 1 point]Any points beyond the 20 or in one of the first 2 quarters are extra credit.
