SPONSOR A BANDLING

Although a limited amount of items, music and instruments can be purchased and repaired with district money, there is simply no way around running a 250+ member band program without an immense alternative source of funding. Therefore, every band student is asked to contribute a financial equivalent to their ensemble/class rigor. Although fundraising opportunities occur throughout the school year, many families struggle to meet the time and financial obligations. The cost of each per-student donation is:

$75 Beginning Band + $100 Concert Band + $150 Symphonic Band + $200 Wind Ensemble + $125 Jazz Band

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN DONATION

With the combined support of our Administration and Booster Team, we have established a capital campaign to raise funds for new instruments and equipment to ensure the continued success and growth of the KMS Band Program. This year's highest need is an enclosed trailer. This is necessary for us to transport our equipment and instruments to off-campus performances. Two years ago, we had 125 students in band, now, with over 250, we simply cannot travel with the small trailer that we currently own. The cost of this campaign is $8,000. No donation is too small to help us reach our goal!

SPRING TOUR GENERAL DONATION

Each year the Kanapaha Band takes our Wind Ensemble on the road to perform at statewide adjudicated festivals and/or performance workshops to extend the learning and performance opportunities outside of the classroom. Our students work very hard to prepare for these events, and we always look forward to the opportunity to showcase the high caliber playing our program has become known for. A donation of any amount will help cover the costs specifically for this performance trip.
