About Mrs. Herrera

Hello! My name is Rebecca Herrera. I was raised in Maitland, Florida, and have lived in the Sunshine State all my life. I studied Elementary Education at Southeastern University, in Lakeland. I moved to Gainesville after graduating, where I began to pursue my teaching career. The 2019-2020 school year marks my thirteenth year as an elementary school teacher, and I am thrilled to say that I have enjoyed every day with my sweet students!

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Erik, for ten years, and we have a sweet baby girl named Emma. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking pictures, and listening to music.
