The Gainesville High School Band and Guard has a 80+ year tradition of excellence and includes the following performing ensembles: The Hurricane Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Centerstage Indoor Guard, & the GHS Percussion Ensemble.

The GHS colorguard, concert and symphonic bands traveled to backstage EPCOT on Friday, December 5th.  Students were under the direction of a Disney clinician and experienced what it was like to be a studio musician for a day.  Students sight-read Disney music and learned the importance of focus to play music correctly the first time they read it.  The experience culminated with a dance routine by the Cologuard and recording a soundtrack to Frozen by the Concert & Symphonic Bands.  Enjoy!
