Extra credit is not a way to make up for not doing work, but can help supplement for a student having a bad day or struggling with a certain topic. I do offer extra credit opportunities and advise students to take advantage of them when they can. Please note that I DO NOT accept late extra credit assignments.

Ongoing extra credit opportunities:

• • • Vocabulary Flash Cards - May create flash cards (word on one side, definition on the other) for each word of vocabulary in a unit. This provides extra credit in the test grades category and is due on the day of the test. 

    • Vocabulary Sentences - Use each vocabulary word in a sentence that shows that you understand the word and how it is used. You must highlight or underline the word. You may not use the same or similar sentences repeatedly and you may not rephrase the definition.
