Password Help

A student's AD Password controls the login to multiple applications:

• computer logins

• myPortal

• Gmail

• Skyward

All ACPS Active Directory (AD) users, teachers, staff, and students, must self-enroll in the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) to manage their AD Password.

Active Directory (AD) is a Microsoft service that manages users, computers, and resources on a Windows network. It is a centralized database that stores information about everything on the network, including user accounts, computer accounts, and group membership.  

AD acts like a phone book for your network, helping IT and admin teams manage the network efficiently and ensuring users only access necessary resources.
