if the team determines that a full evaluation is signed, during an IEP meeting the re-evaluation process will be initiated.there is additional paperwork that must be completed by members of the IEP team along with the re-evaluation forms. You can find below the additional forms specific to assistive technology.

For students with complex and often emergent communication needs, the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices is often implemented, sometimes for students as young as age 3. They can be static (one picture that doesn't change, or dynamic (computerized screens that change and speak when selected).
The process for all AT but especially AAC involves:
observations
evaluation
device trials
data collection
videotaped sessions (if appropriate)
data analysis
results sharing
Funding for AAC devices can include:
school district (IDEA funds)
school level funds (for lower tech devices)
private funding from charitable organizations
family's private insurance
student's Medicaid funding
