What I Learned: Adding blues and greens to the skin makes people look more realistic.

What I'm Trying To Communicate: I wanted the butterfly, lavender, and paint drips and splatter to represent the beauty of her personality. But then also experimenting with the feminine figure.

What I Learned: When a space doesn't look right, give it more life.

What I'm Trying To Communicate: Not a lot of people like cloudy, dark, foggy days but those days are actually my favorite especially if it’s raining so I’m hoping that this painting looks pretty and calm to bring out the beauty in what’s known as ugly.
