Disabling Submissions and Minimizing Schoology Notiofications
Posting Announcement vs Link vs Assignment in Schoology
By posting information, greetings, or announcements using this process verses posting them such as “assignments” or “quizzes”, we can manage the amount of notifications parents are getting, as well as ensure that expectations are clear about when a student is required to submit work. If you are only trying to communicate a link or a message to students try using the Add File/Link/ External Tool, Add Page, or Add Media Album tools in the Add Material drop down in Schoology.
1) Click on the class you want to post in (for me it would be STAR: Master)
2) Look to use one of the following if you want communicate a message or announcement to your students
