As part of the 5th Grade LEAD graduation ceremony, the 5th graders of Loring Flemming will sing "God Bless the USA" as a parting song to Loring Flemming. This song, sometimes referred to as "Proud to Be an American", was originally peformed by Grammy Award-winning recording artist Lee Greenwood. Performing this song as part of the LEAD ceremony is a tradition that every 5th grader who has attended Loring Flemming has taken part in.
