Dearest Students, Parents, and the Global Jaya Community,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are delighted to welcome our students, staff, and families back. We hope you had a chance to relax and create wonderful memories with your loved ones over the summer holiday.
Our school is a remarkable place for learning and growth. We take great pride in our beautiful campus and hold high expectations for all our students. Our students are kind, compassionate, and enthusiastic learners. Together with our committed staff, we aim to build strong connections with students to ensure they feel valued, accepted, and safe.
This year, we are thrilled to welcome 7 new teachers, including whole school Religion teachers and Learning Diversity teachers, and 62 new families to our Primary division. We encourage all our parents to read the Primary Parent Handbook linked on the school website. It provides vital information needed to ensure a successful and smooth school year for your child.
Parent Meetings
In the coming week, we will be organizing orientation sessions for both our new and returning families. Details of the orientation can be found below. Please note that the August 1 Induction is for new families only. The August 7 Parent Teacher Meeting is for all parents. It is an opportunity to get to know your teachers and other parents in your year group.

Summer Reading Challenge
We hope or children have had the opportunity to engage in the Global Jaya School Summer Reading Challenge! If your child took on reading as a challenge and completed the Summer Reading BINGO card (Reception to Year 5) and Kindy Literacy Bingo card (for Kindergarten) please send the completed copy with your child’s name and pass it to either your child’s teacher or Ibu Imas in the office. We would like to recognize their efforts in our August Assembly.
After School Care
The After School Care program aims at addressing the needs of families with children in Kindergarten through Year 2. We understand that with the different finishing times for different levels in the Primary school, it can be challenging to organize several pick-up times. You can view the presentation by clicking the following link: Presentation Link
As previously shared, we require a minimum of 8 students to run the program successfully. The fees will be charged on a term basis, similar to our After School Activities (ASA). Commitment is needed for the entire semester, with payment on a term basis. If necessary, arrangements can be made with the finance department. To confirm your child's enrollment in the program, please complete the registration form using the following link: Registration Form Link. If you are interested in enrolling your child please complete this form by August 1, 2024.
We look forward to partnering with families and creating a supportive and enriching educational experience for all our students.
In Gratitude,
Lavesa Devnani
