Dramatic Inquiry in the PYP

Description: We will explore how to use dramatic provocations as a tool for creating a sense of purpose and learner investment in inquiry. Specifically, we will look at the use of Mantle of the Expert and dilemma-led learning. Come armed with some of your current central ideas so we can discuss ones which may lend themselves to this form of inquiry.

Formative ATL Assessment Tracking

Description: Sharing how our Elementary PE team is using Approaches to Learning (ATL's) skills as a form of on-going assessment. Learners and teachers make on-going judgements based off the ATL's across 2-3 units to create a clear picture of how learners are tracking, making next steps and celebrating success.

This workshop will provide attendees possible methods for on-going assessment tools and strategies based using transferable skills.
