MCJROTC at Goochland High School. The Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (MCJROTC) is a dynamic Career and Technical Education (CTE) program offered at Goochland High School. Designed to build leadership, discipline, and teamwork, this program also serves as a Physical Education (PE) credit for 9th and 10th-grade students. MCJROTC provides a unique opportunity for students to develop essential life skills while fulfilling academic requirements and preparing for future career paths.
Goochland High School MCJROTC (Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) is a leadership and character development program designed to instill discipline, citizenship, and academic excellence in high school students. Based at Goochland High School, this MCJROTC unit imparts the values and traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps, blending military training with educational activities. Students involved in the program gain skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership, preparing them for successful futures both in and out of military service. Additionally, they engage in community service, drills, and physical fitness activities. The dedication, discipline, and camaraderie fostered in the Goochland High School MCJROTC are truly commendable, making it an amazing and invaluable program for the students and the larger community.
