The Monarch Book Awards

The Monarch Book Awards are a State of Illinois children's choice award designed to encourage children to read critically and become familiar with children's books, authors and illustrators. There are 20 books nominated this year. Students need to have read or listened to at least 5 of the nominated books to be eligible to vote. The students will be voting for their top pick on the the last week of February. We will be reading at least 5 of the titles in the LRC during their LRC visits in the month of February but the titles will also be available for check out in the LRC or at the Glenview Public Library.
