Snack Guidelines
It’s time for a snack! Students are welcome and encouraged to bring a nut free snack to school each day. In accordance with the district health and wellness initiative, we have created a list of acceptable food items that your child may bring as a snack. Any snacks that do not appear on this list will be sent home in your child’s backpack to be eaten after school. Please read over the list carefully. Snacks will be eaten in the morning between 8:00am and noon, depending on the day’s schedule. This list is not all inclusive and other snacks are fine as long as they contain no nuts.
· Fruit and/or Vegetables (no dip)
· Yogurt
· Pretzels
· Goldfish
· Cheese
· Raisins
· Applesauce
Also students can bring a water bottle to keep at their desk. There is no juice or flavored drinks allowed for snack.
