This lockdown has caused NZ to stay indoors. Even though it meant that we could not leave home unless it was essential but what NZ has done has helped people keep safe and realise what how important time with family. It has been long. It has been interesting. The fact that we are loving through times like this is still unbelievable but NZ has improved and the number of cases are decreasing which means we are slowly but surely seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Online learning with my class has amazing. Well for me that is. Seeing my students faces through google meet gave me a sense of normality. Though teaching online doesn't feel the same as in the classroom at least I get to do what I love! There are some times where connectivity becomes a problem and there are technical difficulties which affect our sessions but there has always been a way through it.
When NZ officially went into Level 3 last week Monday. This meant takeaway restaurants reopened, and other stores were allowed to be open aswell. Last weekend, I had Mcdonalds for brunch and "OH MY GOODNESS!" it was SCUMPTIOUS! It felt like magic! I had a NYC Benedict Bagel combo with hotcakes.I enjoyed every moment of it.
