All available summer volunteer opportunities for tweens/teens entering grades 6-12 can be found on this page. Some opportunities have set days/times that you will need to be available for, others are flexible and can fit into your schedule however you'd like. All of that information is specified below, so please read carefully!

Like a Mini Makers Day... Pop Up Makerspace activities will be Wednesday mornings from 10:30am-12:30pm. Each week you will lead a different activity in the main area of the library for drop-in participants of all ages. We'll use the button maker, make fidget cubes and magnetic bookmarks, and more.
Sign up for each week you'd like to volunteer. Limited to 4 volunteers per week.

Tuesday mornings 11am-12pm
Join us weekly to create Artist Trading Cards (ATC) - sets of mini works of art - to trade with your fellow teen artists.
To gain volunteer hours from this club (1 hour per week), you will create sets of 3-5 ATCs to leave as free give-aways for all library visitors.
There are only two rules for creating ATCs - they must be 2.5"x3.5" and they are made to be traded/given away.
Each week we'll work based on a theme to create sets of ATCs. We'll provide all cards and art supplies, just bring your creativity!
On Tuesday, August 11 we will have a swap party and where you can trade cards with your fellow teen artists!
For grades 6-12. Registration is required. Please sign up for each week you plan to attend.

Sign up using LibCal for each week you'd like to attend: June 30, July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, August 4, & August 11 (swap party - you need to have attended at least one previous session to participate in the swap party)
Use your technology expertise to help library patrons learn to use their phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices. Teen Tech Help will be held Monday mornings from 11am-1pm and Wednesday afternoons from 2pm-4pm beginning July 6th and going through July 29th.
Each day will have two sessions: 11am-12pm and 12pm-1pm on Mondays & 2pm-3pm and 3pm-4pm on Wednesdays. You can sign up for one or two hours each day you'd like to volunteer. Spots are limited to 4 volunteers per session.
There may not always be someone needing help at each session, but we will still have things for you to do to earn your volunteer time!
Sign up for each session that you are able to attend. It is important that if you are no longer able to attend a session that you let Kristen know as soon as possible.
