Registration is required for all summer programs unless otherwise noted. Registration for July programs begins June 15th at 10am and registration for August programs begins July 15th at 10am. Each program is linked directly to its registration page. All of our summer programs are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Glen Rock Library.

Mondays 10:30am-11:30am

Join us on Monday mornings for this laid-back crochet club for teens! Learn & practice basic crochet stitches, work on current projects or start new ones, and chat with friends. 

Already know how to crochet? Awesome! Earn volunteer hours by attending and helping your peers learn. To volunteer, sign up at this link instead.

Join us for a 3-week pinhole photography workshop where you'll learn how to build your own camera, take photos with that camera, and develop those photos. 

Registering for Session 1 will automatically register you for June 24th, July 1st, & July 8th.
Registering for Session 2 will automatically register you for July 15th, 22nd, & 29th.

Teen Battle Chefs

Thursday, July 11, 5:30pm-6:30pm

Teen chefs will form teams and battle it out to compete in a food challenge! Awards will be determined at the end of the program and everyone can eat their masterpieces.

Intro to Debate

Thursdays, July 25, August 1, 8, & 15, 6pm-7pm, for grades 4-6

This 4 week program is dedicated to students in grades 4-6 who want to learn how to analyze a text effectively, how to craft a coherent and convincing argument, and how to hold a debate/Socratic seminar. Over the course of this workshop, you'll be developing the critical skill of being able to formulate an argument effectively and discuss important topics in the world today.

This class is taught be a Glen Rock High School student who is an officer of Students for Service Club at GRHS.
