Grading Policy

Our grading policy is not based on points but by percentages.

Homework/ Class Participation counts as ⅓ of your Marking Period Grade

All assignments will be posted to Google Classroom.Homework CANNOT be emailed.Homework that is late will receive a 50% in Skyward instead of 100%. Partial credit is half credit.

Quality of homework will be graded as either a 70, 85, or 100.

70 = Check minus (work with many mistakes, forgetful of following directions)85 = Check (solid work that still struggles with mastering the main objective or certain concepts)100 = Check plus (work demonstrates mastery of the lesson)

Quizzes are ⅓ of your Marking Period

Quizzes will be conducted via Google Forms.Sometimes a Google Slides assignment will count as a Quiz grade.Sometimes a FlipGrid will count as a Speaking Quiz grade.Assessments will vary in order to accommodate different learning styles.

Projects/Tests count as ⅓ of your Marking Period Grade

Tests will be a Unit Portfolio showcasing how well you can write, speak, and listen to French.Projects will be assigned once per marking period.
