What will be provided: Mini books, sticker paper, a Canva template for your book covers, a clear plastic ornament, 2025 charm, and ribbon.
What you will need: A list of book titles that you read this year, or a list of your top books you've read over time. You will be able to make up to 20 mini books.

Split books in half to match the template's spine width

Follow these directions to edit the book cover template:
Make sure you are logged into your Canva account
Open the link above and make a copy of the template
Click on "File" in the upper left corner on the window
Select make a copy
To edit each book cover you will have to unlock each book
Click on the book you want to edit
Select the lock icon with the pen
Click on the lock one more time
Do a google search to find a book cover
Copy the book cover from the web browser
Paste it into the Canva template
Drag the cover into the frame of the book you are editing
Click on the "download" icon on the left to select the same book cover and drag the book cover into the other side
To change the color of the spine:
Click on the spine
Click on the color wheel at the top of the screen in the edit options
Go to the section that says "Photo colors" and pick a color that matches the book cover
Change the lines of the spine to blend in by clicking on the circle next to the color wheel and picking the same color you just chose for the spine.
Lock your book in place so you don't accidentally edit it. Just click on the lock right above the book cover you are editing.
