Hopewell & Gideon Welles Gr.5

Family STEAM Night

Your child is invited to celebrate STEAM throughout the month of March.

KICK OFF Family STEAM Night: March 6th

6:30 - 8 @ Hopewell Elementary School

Explore some Science and Technology, Engineer structures, make some Art, use a little Math, and enjoy an evening of activities that incorporate all the elements of STEAM on Wednesday March 6th at Hopewell school.

In a change this year, the Hopewell & Gideon Welles Family STEAM Night will KICK OFF the district’s month long focus on STEAM.

Students do not have to do a project, but we will be collecting pictures of students doing STEAM activities throughout the month of March and will post them on the large bulletin board in the school foyer.

Our goal is for students to explore STEAM activities throughout March.  A menu of STEAM activities for students will be made available the evening of the STEAM night.  You can also find them below.  Students can do as many activities as they want from the STEAM choice menu and bring in a picture to be posted on our STEAM bulletin board.

If you have additional questions, you can contact me, Mr. Abramo at abramom@glastonburyus.org

We hope your family enjoys spending time STEAMING INTO MARCH.
