Kia ora koutou! Try starting the day by practising the Gladstone karakia timatanga (blessing to start the day - non religious), the date in reo, practising a kīwaha (everyday saying), and practising a whakataukī (phrase to live by / proverb). Try ending each day with the Gladstone karakia whakamutunga (blessing to end the day - also non-religious, and practise waiata (songs) throughout the week! At Gladstone we welcome visitors and New Entrants with a Whakatau (an informal pōwhiri), so we sometimes practise the haka that Gladstone welcomes their visitors into the hall with.
