About the Director

Seth graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a focus on Instrumental Conducting from the University of Oregon. He is currently pursuing his Master’s of Music Education from Central Washington University through the American Band College. He currently leads seven performing ensembles at Kraxberger Middle School and Gladstone High School in Gladstone, Oregon where he teaches students from 6th through 12th grade. His bands have won awards at the League and State level, including a 3rd place finish in 2019 and a 4A State Championship in 2022. Seth's students are consistently accepted into the Oregon All State Honor bands. He is certified through the Oregon Band Directors Association as a band and orchestra adjudicator. His wife, Emily Arnold, is an Kodaly-certified music educator in the Tigard/Tualitin school district.
