Principles of Marketing  Course 1(Grades 9-12)

Course provides students with the knowledge and opportunity to develop in depth sales competencies. Types of selling, steps in a sale, sales strategies, and skills and techniques in the area of sales may all be topic of these courses.

Retail Marketing/Marketing Management   Courses 2 and 3 Sign up for both courses (Grade 10-12)

Students will learn that retailing is about more than just sales.  They learn opening a store requires research, strategy, and planning.  They will learn that a successful store requires careful merchandise selection, buying and pricing know-how, and attention to service and management for employees as well as managers.

**Students will also get hands-on experience by working at the Panther Paw, our own student store.  They will get experience with in the creation of unique products such as t-shirts and mugs, etc.  They will also participate in inventory, sales, buying, cash register/cash handling and accounting, displays and so much more!

Social Media Marketing  Course 4 (Grades 11-12)

This course covers concepts and foundational theory in social media marketing, including social media for business, paid social media advertising, analytics, audits, and campaign planning. Students will learn how companies use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.  They will also participate in a real-world online simulation where they are taking on the role of a social media manager for a fictitious company, Buhi Supply Co.
