• Attendance

As you start becoming a senior you end up representing the school more, going away most weekends for sports trips and also doing Gateway and work experience during the week. It is the expectation that you inform your teacher that you will be absent from class. This develops a good working relationship with your teacher which can benefit you if you need a time extension to complete an assessment.

• PE uniform

Red or Black P.E shirt, black shorts. No questions, no exceptions! You are role models at the school for the Y9-10's, take pride in your appearance and your school.

• Authenticity and Plagiarism of work

Authenticity mean that you have  completed the written assessment by yourself. You have not copied and pasted things off the internet and passed them off as your ideas or work. Every piece of work you do will have a cover sheet where you will sign to say that you have completed the work yourself.  Plagiarism is when you use some work that is not your own E.g. You have used your mates that he shared with you or copied verbatim ( word for word) from a website or book without referencing whom wrote it. If you are found to have plagiarised work you will get an automatic Not Achieved and no chance to resubmit your work.

• Homework

It is the expectation of the subject that you complete Homework as required. Failure to complete homework will affect your knowledge and will put you behind the rest of the class and the expected high level of achievement.

• Talk to me if you are going to be away. Communication is the key to success this year.

• Get involved, support each other, be competitive, but most of all have fun.
