California Colleges is a web based college and career program that GUSD has adopted for our middle and high school students. CA Colleges, "Provides middle school students the opportunity to start planning for life after high school. They can take career assessments and use search tools to develop college, major, and career lists, track activities, and read a wide variety of age- appropriate content to develop and explore their knowledge."
Students are able to access California Colleges online. Students created accounts using their GUSD email. We asked South Valley students to use their birthday as their password. Heart and search away students.
Think Career Pathways!
Parents we encourage you to create a California Colleges account as well. To create your account you will need to have an email and your students student ID# (lunch number). Once you create your account you too can explore different college and career information along with your student (please refer to the flyer on how to create a parent account for step by step directions).
Tiger Students:
Please make sure to add the SVMS Distance Learning Counseling Google Classroom by grade level.
