Reading and Language Arts
Reading is so important and we want you to read at least 20 minutes everyday. This can be from our textbooks which are found here , books you have at home, or from different websites listed below. We have completed Modules 1-6 in our textbooks. There are 12 modules in all so there are still plenty of stories to choose from and you can always go back and reread some of the stories we've already read! JUST KEEP READING!

EPIC --large variety of online books--some are read aloud (click Mrs. Jones' Class then click on your name and begin reading--ALL second grade students are listed.)
Storyline Online listen to stories read aloud by famous actors and actresses.
IXL --anything that has a star beside it would be good to work on
