The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is a great way to prepare for the SATs and/or ACTs. This test allows students to have a better understanding of how the SAT and ACT exams work. Students who take the PSAT as 11th graders will be eligible for scholarships based upon their scores. The PSAT 10 is offered to 10th graders in the Spring and the standard PSAT is offered to 11th graders in the fall. The fall administration of the PSAT is also open to 10th graders thinking about applying to the Southwest Virginia Governor's School.
