To bring together the female computer scientists in GPS to participate in project based engineering and computer science learning.
Statistically, women are underrepresented in computer science and engineering fields. Research has shown that some of the reasons are lack of exposure and lack of interest. This experience will tackle both in an engaging, creative, exciting format.

Students will be picked up by bus or van by Gilbert Public Schools Transportation Department
Upon arrival to school - Check in with the front office and wait for the bus. Bus drivers will be picking students up from ALL schools. Exact time unavailable
9:00 - 9:15 Buses will drop students at Tech Services
9:00 - 9:30 Breakfast and Welcome
9:30 - 11:30 - Breakout into teams to engineer their golf course
11:30 - 12:00 - Lunch (provided) working lunch while finishing projects
12:00 - 12:45 Display and play
12:45 - 1:00 Wrap up and Reflection
1:00 - Buses will pick students up at Tech Services and return them to their schools.
