MHS provides the PSAT to all 10th graders, free of cost, during the Fall semester. The purpose of giving this exam in their 10th grade year is to provide academic information to the school so that we can help a student and their family make a more informed course choices throughout high school. Additionally, there is a distinct advantage for any student to engage in the type of high stakes, timed testing that the PSAT provides in regards to performing better on other college entry exams such as the SAT or the ACT. 

As an 11th grader, we provide an opportunity for students to retake the PSAT/NMSQT for a fee of $25. By taking it in the Junior year they are now
