Second Step is a curriculum that is used by Gilbert Public Schools in various grades. It is a program that builds skills for Social and Academic Success.Â

This is done by directly teaching the students the skills that strengthen their ability to:
Learn
Have empathy
Manage emotions
Solve problems
Families are encouraged to participate through homework assignments that review the skills that the students have learned.
