ABOUT ME

WELCOME CANYON RIM COUGARS

  I am the Canyon Rim Elementary School Social Worker. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Arizona and a Certified School Social Worker through the Department of Education.  I have been here at Canyon Rim since 2021. I was previously at Islands Elementary for 21 years. I love working with the students, families, and staff here at CRE. I strive to be involved in many aspects of campus life and community.  Most importantly, I am here for the children to serve any of their needs: emotionally, socially, academically, and basic resources.  I am available to meet with any parents who have questions or want support.

I work with children individually and in groups providing prevention and intervention services.  This may include consultations with your child's teacher, the school nurse, and other members of the school team.  I run coping/social skills groups for students who are referred to me.  I meet with students during school scheduled intervention times. These services are free of charge and require parents' or guardians' consent.
