March 15, 2024 - Columbia Scholastic Press Association awards the Ingenium staff of Greenfield Junior High their highest honor, a Gold Crown. This marks the staff's fifth gold and seventh Crown overall.
December 15, 2023 - The Ingenium staff earned one of ONLY four junior high Pacemakers in the nation. Additionally, GRJHS was the ONLY junior high in the nation to win both a Gold Crown and a Pacemaker this year.
December 11, 2023 - GRJHS is once again a finalist for an NSPA Pacemaker. This is the sixth year in a row Ingenium has earned this honor.
April 23, 2023 - The Ingenium staff earned one of ONLY four junior high Pacemakers in the nation. Additionally, GRJHS was the ONLY junior high in the nation to win both a Gold Crown and a Pacemaker this year.
March 17, 2023 - WE'RE GOLDEN. The Columbia Scholastic Press Association awarded the GrJHS yearbook a Gold Crown award for excellence in yearbook. The staff was one of two junior highs in the nation to earn this honor. This is the fourth Gold Crown, and sixth Crown overall for the yearbook staff.
December 16, 2022 - Your GRJHS staff was honored with the announcement that they are a finalist for the trendsetting Pacemaker Award given by the National Scholastic Press Association. GRJHS was one of ONLY eight junior highs in the nation to earn this distinction. Winners will be announced in April 2023.
December 15, 2022 - The prestigious Columbia Scholastic Press Association announced their annual Crown award winners and GRJHS was on the list again. ONLY ten junior highs in the nation were named as finalists. The staff will find out if they won a Gold or Silver Crown in March 2023.
December 16, 2021 - The National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker award finalists were announced and GRJHS is on the list again! Only two junior highs from Arizona were honored and final awards will be given out in April 2022.
December 15, 2021 - Columbia University's Columbia Scholastic Press Association named their finalists for the prestigious Crown Award. Greenfield Junior High's Ingenium was on the list and the staff is eagerly awaiting the color Crown they earned at the presentation in March 2022.
March 19, 2021 - The Columbia Scholastic Press Association announces that the 2020 volume of Ingenium has won a GOLD Crown Award. The GRJHS staff was one of three junior highs in the nation to win a Gold.
March 11, 2021 - The 2020 volume is a finalist for another national award, the Pacemaker from the National Scholastic Press Association. NSPA named 13 junior highs as finalists and GRJHS was one of them.
December 19, 2020 - Last year's yearbook wins highly sought after national award, a Crown Award from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association in New York. GRJHS was one of 12 junior highs in the nation to earn the honor.
November 13, 2020 - JL Grossman is named one of ten finalists for National Scholastic Press Association's Junior High/Middle School Individual Awards for Photo of the Year - "The Future of Ice Cream".
May 15, 2020 - Avery Hull wins 10th place design award in NSPA's Outstanding Coronavirus Coverage Project for the main spread from the COVID insert.
