About Us

Our school yearbook, Ingenium, is made during our third hour yearbook class in rooms 223 & 224, hidden at the back of hallway G. The staff consists of a mix of dedicated seventh and eighth graders whose sole reason for being in class is to provide you with the best possible yearbook. Each hard bound volume contains 100+ pages of full-color pictures and graphics, student-written stories, and memories to last a lifetime.

The class is advised by Ms. Jennifer Parsons and overseen by second year staff members Brooke Murphy, Morgan Lake, and Tayler Hagen. A new theme is chosen each year by the adviser and editorial staff to help tell the unique stories of the school year with a cohesive verbal and visual message.

Ingenium is a member of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA), National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA), and Arizona Interscholastic Press Association (AIPA). The staff has earned numerous national awards and recognition for their excellence in scholastic yearbook design, photography, and writing. Ms. Parsons is a member of the Journalism Education Association (JEA) and earned her national journalism certification (CJE) in March of 2019.

Unless otherwise credited, all photos are taken by the staff. Greenfield Junior High uses Lou Coopey's All Pro Studios for its individual school pictures, club photos, and sports team photos. You can find more information about them at their website: www.loucoopey.com.
