The Greenfield Orchestras have many ways for you to get involved, namely with the Boosters! Your help is greatly needed and appreciated to keep ours a vibrant program of excellence! Orchestra Boosters support our orchestra students and music program in a variety of ways through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

Some ways the Greenfield Orchestra Booster has helped in the past:

• Purchase of instruments - 1/2 size cello, 3/4 size cello, 1/4 size bass, 1/2 size bass, 15 inch viola, full size violin  (the state/district does not currently allot a budget for new instruments)

• Helped pay for costs associated with local field trips (7th grade) and ABODA competition (8th grade)

• Orchestra classroom supplies and materials, not covered by the school or district

• Flowers and treats available at Greenfield Orchestra concerts

• Welcome "swag" bags for incoming 7th grade orchestra students

Get Involved & Volunteer – Let’s make it a great year for our kids! Whether you serve as a member on the booster board, help as a fundraising project lead, volunteer your time and/or unique talents, or simply sign up to help as needed for a few hours here and there, we would love to have you join us! [8th grade parents, note that any volunteering you do for orchestra will *look great* on your application to chaperone the (tentative) Disneyland field trip in the Spring!]

Come to our booster meetings (or tune in online!) We would love your participation during Booster meetings which are open to all 7th and 8th grade orchestra parents/guardians both in-person and via Webex. Get to know our orchestra director, Ms. Duce, and other parents, share your ideas, and have a vote! We look forward to meeting you at a Boosters meeting soon!

Special note for 7th grade families: we know that for many of you, this is your first child at Greenfield Junior High. We encourage you to attend meetings and get involved. It is a great way to get to know other Greenfield Orchestra families and help sustain a wonderful music program here at Greenfield for your student these next two years!
