Concert Uniform

Students should look professional for performances. All students should wear “white on top, black on bottom” for performances unless otherwise notified. School dress code applies and performance attire is part of each concert grade.

BOYS UNIFORM:

• solid white collared shirt

• solid black pants/slacks

• tall black socks

• Solid black dress shoes

• no shorts, no jeans, no ties; school dress code applies

GIRLS UNIFORM:

• solid white blouse (no sleeveless tops)

• solid black dress pants or long skirts (Skirts must be mid-calf when sitting. Cello/bass players’ skirts must be ankle length, but slacks are preferred.)

• black nylons, black knee highs, black tights, or tall black socks

• Solid black dress shoes.

• no jeans, no t-shirts; school dress code applies

NOTE: Students are asked to wear the orchestra t-shirt TO SCHOOL on the day of a concert. Much like athletes who wear jerseys on game days, wearing our orchestra shirts increases enthusiasm for the concert and promotes unity.
