Campo Verde Biomedical Science Program

Campo Verde High School’s Biomedical Science Program gives students who are interested in math, science, and the human body an introduction to numerous medical fields.  The four-year course of study is integrated into the high school curriculum.  It is designed to augment the high school science and math programs and establish a solid background in the biomedical sciences.

Campo Verde’s Biomedical Sciences uses the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum.  PLTW is the nation’s leading provider of rigorous education and innovative science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education for middle and high schools.  A nonprofit, PLTW began in 1998 in 12 high schools in upstate New York as a way to address the shortage of engineering students at the college level
