Hi!  My name is Brandy Zingelmann and I am your Giddings ISD district social worker.  I am originally from the big metropolis of Carmine, Tx. and a graduate of R.T.-C.  I earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech in Spanish and completed my teaching certification through the Blinn teach program.  I started in the education field teaching Spanish at the high school level in 2004.   I taught for 14 years and loved it...but found that I wanted to work from a different platform to help our kiddos.  I went back to school and graduated from Texas State with my Master's degree in Social Work in 2019.  I moved out of the classroom and into the social work field but stayed in the school setting because kids and education are my passion.  I'm super glad to be a Giddings Buffalo!
