Viking Book Club

The Viking Book Club meets monthly starting in October usually on the third Thursday of the month. Students who enjoy reading and talking about books are encouraged to join in a lively discussion surrounding young adult literature. The Viking Book Club is open to students in all grades. Due to the limited number of copies of the book titles that we can obtain there is a maximum of ten book club members. We read a variety of genres including realistic fiction, mystery, fantasy, historical fiction, nonfiction, and more.

Our first tentatively scheduled meeting will be Thursday, October 20, 2022. All meetings take place in the middle school library from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm on the third Thursday of the month. You can arrange to be picked up or the 3:55 pm bus will be available to take you home.

An announcement will be made to the entire school when Book Club enrollment is open, usually in late September. Also, look for the Google Form registration in the VCMS Events Classroom and the Library Google Classroom.
