Hello to those reading! My name is Cathy and I was a senior when I wrote this though by the time you're reading it, I hope I'm enjoying my first year of college! To be completely honest, I've never been drawn to just one subject in school or did I really enjoy any particular topic to study. However, I've always had a love for learning in general whether it's discovering random facts, picking up a new skill, or trying a new hobby. I truly enjoy the process of expanding my knowledge and trying new things. While I'm still figuring out what direction I want to take with my education and career, I hope is to find something I truly enjoy. At this moment, my primary focus is on appreciating the present and continuing to explore the world around me.
Hello, my name is Axel Nguyen, and I have completed AP Research. My favorite subject in school is math, so this class was initially hard for me because of the different way of thinking, but this class is amazing nonetheless. Some hobbies that I've had include swimming, gaming, and talking to friends. In addition, I plan to achieve some goals such as being healthier and relaxing more.
Salutations! My name is Bi Nguyen and I am a current junior interested in the field of humanities as well as social studies. I love to stay active playing volleyball, pickleball, and chess. Next year I will be Ms. Dinh's teacher assistant so do not be afraid to ask questions along the year about anything, I would be most delighted to assist anyone. I hope that in the future I can attend UCLA for either a history or psychology major to either be a teacher or a therapist.
My name is Brandon Sang Nguyen, and I’m a senior at Garden Grove High School. I’m passionate about fashion, storytelling, and entrepreneurship. I’m currently freelancing as an assistant celebrity stylist in Los Angeles while running my accessory brand, NHÀ SÁNG, which I founded in 2022 after years of design experimentation. My favorite subject this year has been AP Research, where I explored how Gen Z’s self-image has shifted during the pandemic through “Main Character Syndrome” on TikTok. After graduation, I plan to study Fashion Communications in New York at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I hope to grow NHÀ SÁNG into a brand that blends creativity with community. I’m excited to continue pursuing styling, creative direction, and building spaces where others can feel seen and inspired.
Hi my name is Edward Nguyen, I am a junior interested in becoming an FNCS champ or WSL champ. Inside school I am more interested in math/stem classes and outside my academics I enjoy surfing and skating.

Hii my name is Juleana Nguyen and I am currently a junior at Garden Grove High School. I absolutely hate school and would take up any opportunity to miss it (or sleep through it). I enjoy cafe hopping, going to the beach, late night adventures, and anything spontaneous. I love watching kdramas in my free time and am a certified addict. I am planning to major in nursing and one day open my own medspa—or become a travel nurse and travel the world—or whatever it means to be young, rich, and not chopped.
Hi! My name is Kathleen Nguyen and I'm a senior from the class of 2025. I still have a long way to go in terms of developing a sense of where I want to go/what I want to do in career, but I am firm in my belief that I will thrive in an environment where I get to interact with or study individuals. Since freshmen year, I have tried to branch outside of my comfort zone by exploring as many opportunities as possible. Regarding extracurriculars and internships, I have stayed most consistent with human relations and community-building. This certainty about myself has led me to choosing to major in cognitive science. Although there were other majors out there that dealt with a specific discipline, I chose a broad path such as cognitive science to allow myself room to grow as I mature and gain experiences in college. Best of luck incoming juniors and seniors!
Kaylee Nguyen is currently a senior and has plans to go into the nursing field at Golden West College. For fun, Kaylee enjoys listening to music, going out to eat, and writing. Kaylee's current favorites consist of cats, Korean BBQ, and the movie "Sinners".
Hi my name's Nam Nguyen and I'm a current senior at Garden Grove high school. My favorite subject is math despite its difficulty seeing that when I eventually do understand the problems, it makes me feel intelligent in a way. Some things I like doing personally is playing volleyball, learning to play the guitar, listening to music, and explore new places as I feel that's what make s and sums up my personality and who I am as a person. As a current senior is about to graduate high school in a few days, I plan to attend a 4 year college majoring in biology and hopefully pursuing a career in the dental field.
