There are many ways to donate. You can volunteer your time. You can become an employee or job training partner. You can donate an unwanted house that needs a little rehab or a running vehicle that may need a little work. You can give a one-time or recurring financial donation. You can organize group donations in collaboration with other organizations or communities. You can sponsor a donation event, and even donate work clothes, boots, hard hats, safety equipment, furniture, and non-perishable food items.
When you give financially, you help provide transportation, lunch/dinner, tools, and equipment needed by those making the transition into the work force.

"I had never done construction work in my life, but thanks to the training received through GG's Wellness Centers and their partner employers, I was hanging projector screens in theaters and classrooms less than a year out of incarceration. " I had no idea what I wanted to do when I graduated from high school. I was supposed to go to college and play football, but my grades were not good enough. So, I had to make a decision to get a job or go to juco to get my grades up. GG's Wellness and their employment partners allowed me to gain the financial stability that allowed me to take care of myself. I also learned a few skills and had enough time and money to weigh out my options without feeling too much unnecessary pressure.
