How do I log into a chromebook?

To log into a chromebook, you use the same Google credentials as you would for desktop, laptop, or other device. However, if your chromebook was checked out from an elementary school, it is possible there is an extra step (and a bit of a pitfall) to logging in with regular Google credentials.

Port Angeles School District elementary schools (i.e. Hamilton, Roosevelt, Franklin, Jefferson, and Dry Creek) use what are known as Clever badges for students grade K - 3. If your student does not have a Clever badge, they will need to use their studentId@gg.pasd.wednet.edu user name and password to log in to the device.

To be able to enter your username and password, click the Sign In With A Different Account button on the first screen. DO NOT click the Next button. The image to the left shows where you can find this button on your device.
