Jewel is in the east of Singapore, so for many offices it is a trip rather than a short walk. Getting people there on time, in good spirits, and back home without fuss is a large part of a successful day.
Changi Airport has rail and road connections, which makes Jewel accessible from most of the island. For larger groups, consider a chartered coach from the office so everyone arrives together and the programme can start on time. If people travel independently, send clear directions, a meeting point and a contact number. Check car park arrangements with the venue if colleagues plan to drive.
Jewel can be very busy, especially on weekends, school holidays and festive periods. A weekday programme is usually easier to run and more comfortable for participants. Ask the venue about expected footfall on your chosen date.
Ask the venue early about which spaces can be booked, what activities are permitted in public areas, and any restrictions on props, sound or signage. Rules can change, so confirm current requirements directly with the operator in writing.
Non-hotel venues often need more coordination for equipment. Confirm loading routes, access times, power points and any restrictions before the event week. An organiser that brings its own AV and activity equipment can simplify this, but it still needs venue approval.
With many dining options on site, you can either book a group meal or give teams meal vouchers and free time. A booked meal keeps the group together and is easier to manage for dietary requirements.
Although much of Jewel is indoors, travel to and from the venue and any outdoor segments still depend on weather. Plan routes and timings with sheltered options in mind.
