A golf day has a natural rhythm: gather, learn, compete, then celebrate. The structure below is a starting point you can stretch or compress depending on how much of the day your team wants on the course.
Arrival and registration: guests check in, collect team colours and a simple briefing card, and have a drink in the shade.
Welcome and safety briefing: explain the format, the scoring and basic etiquette, including where to stand when someone is swinging.
Warm-up and clinic: a coach leads stretches and a short lesson on the range for beginners, while experienced players warm up alongside.
Team challenges: groups rotate through skills stations or play a short scramble format.
Break: water, snacks and shade between rounds, especially in the middle of the day.
Final challenge: a putting showdown between the leading teams with everyone watching.
Debrief and prizes: lunch or dinner, a short reflection on teamwork and a prize presentation.
Early morning and late afternoon are usually more comfortable for outdoor play in Singapore. If your programme runs through midday, plan the indoor or shaded parts of the day for that window.
The debrief is where a fun outing becomes team building. Ask teams how they decided which shot to play, how they supported beginners and what they would do differently. Keep it short, specific and connected to how the team works in the office.
Capture team photos at the start while everyone is fresh, and record the putting showdown. A short highlight reel shared afterwards extends the goodwill of the day.
Agree the final run sheet with the venue so tee times, range bookings and catering line up with your programme.
