Max Ugaz is a visionary figure and a leading authority in the research and dissemination of the Digital Economy in Peru. With a deep four-decade trajectory in Information Technology, his vision and pioneering work have been fundamental in introducing and developing digital transformation concepts in the country, positioning him as a key strategist for organizations seeking to thrive in the new technological era. His vast experience has enabled him to successfully guide private sector companies and public entities in optimizing their performance through the innovative integration of management and technology. He has been incorporated as a member of the Peruvian Chamber of Artificial Intelligence (CPIA).

This vanguard role is complemented by his influential academic work as a postgraduate professor in the most important business schools in the country and the region. In these forums, he has not only trained the next generation of executives but has also pioneered the exploration of emerging technologies, such as the use of virtual worlds for education, cementing his reputation as a true innovator.

His leadership transcends consultancy and academia, materializing in high-impact executive roles as President of Economía Digital SAC and Director of the Private Council for the Digital Agenda of Peru. From these positions, he has actively driven the national digital agenda, advocating for policies and strategies that foster competitiveness and modernization.

With a solid and diverse academic background, including an MBA with honors and doctoral studies (PhD) in Information Systems Engineering, Max combines intellectual rigor with profound practical experience. He is a certified communicator and leader, an international speaker, and an agent of change whose career is defined by always being one step ahead, anticipating and shaping the digital future of Peru and the region.

Dr. Ernesto Cuadros-Vargas is a figure of global influence in the field of computing, with a distinguished trajectory of more than 20 years on worldwide boards, such as the Board of Governors of the IEEE Computer Society (2020-2023) and the ACM/IEEE-CS curricula steering committee. His strategic vision has been key at the national level, serving as an advisor to the Minister of Education, CTO of MINEDU, and technical advisor to the President of the Republic of Peru.

As a director and dean for over 15 years, Dr. Cuadros has led an unprecedented modernization of higher education. During his tenure as Director at the Universidad Católica San Pablo (UCSP), he transformed the Computer Science program, leading it to be recognized by Google as the strongest in the country and positioning its graduates in the tech company in greater numbers than all other Peruvian universities combined. Subsequently, he created the Computer Science program from scratch at the Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC), making it one of the institution's most sought-after programs in record time.

His solid background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Sao Paulo, developed in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University (USA) and Technische Universität Berlin (Germany), supporting his deep technical knowledge. He has been named an ACM Distinguished Speaker (Association of Computing Machinery) from 2025 to 2027. He is a professional who inspires and executes, capable of translating complex concepts into high-impact strategies for students, academics, and government authorities, establishing himself as a true catalyst for talent and technological innovation in Peru and the region.
